Sun in Sagittarius 2025

That celestial spark in the dark that you’ve been feeling? That’s the arrival of Sagittarius season. We are being urged to rise out of Scorpio’s deep waters and jump into a fiery adventure. We’ll be chasing truth—internal and external. To find that truth, we can seek the wisdom of a wide range of respected sources: friends, family, pastors and priests, inspirational speakers, encyclopedias, lawyers, and gurus. We may seek it by traveling abroad, but it’s possible that we find it in our own backyard. As they say, it’s not the destination, it’s the journey. So, when the opportunity arises, say YES to the quest.

Let Sagittarius season serve as a cosmic campfire. It’s time to warm our curiosity like cold hands on a November night. Let’s aim our intentions for this season like the Archer aims his arrows. We can aim for the stars or discover new meaning in our day-to-day life. Whether you’re starting with small steps or setting out on an epic adventure, Sagittarius offers a fiery invitation to expand and explore.

Lets Start this Journey with the Facts

The Sun leaves the dark waters of Scorpio and moves into Sagittarius’ optimistic realm at 8:36pm, Nov. 21st. The Sun will then travel through Sagittarius until the Winter Solstice on Dec. 21st at 10:03am.

Highlights during Sagittarius season are the Full Moon in Gemini on Dec. 4th and the New Moon in Sagittarius on Dec. 19th.

The Changing Moon

The Planets

  • Jupiter is in retrograde in Cancer
  • Pluto is sitting on the 1st degree of Aquarius

There are big energy changes afoot:

  • Three planets will end their retrogrades:
    • Saturn in Pisces turns direct on Nov. 27th
    • Mercury in Scorpio ends his retrograde period on Nov. 29th
    • Neptune Pisces starts direction motion on Dec. 10th
  • Two planets enter Sagittarius:
    • Venus, currently in Scorpio, joins the Archer on Nov. 30th
    • Mercury enters Sagittarius on Dec. 11th
  • Finally, Mars is currently in Sagittarius. He’ll enter Capricorn on Dec. 15th: Mars is very happy in Capricorn where he finds discipline and structure.

  1. Dear Auntie Moo,

I just wanted to say thank you for your recent posts – I’ve really appreciated them! They started coming to me, sort of out of the blue (I think I subscribed a while ago, but hadn’t gotten any notifications in a long time, or ever – don’t remember, not important). Anyway, I was looking for input last full moon (in taurus) and “ding” – into my inbox drops a note saying you just wrote the post I was needing :) So thank you again :)

I also feel like adding, that from my little own life/perspective, I hope you don’t feel pressured to keep up with posts. I made a few posts on some of the outer planets’ shenanigans, and felt “oh, then I need to talk about y and z too” and it quickly became a sort of “have to” / ‘keeping up with’ thing, instead of just sharing what I want to in any given moment. I’ve also been working on a yearly calendar kind of thing since the month of Gemini, and I can feel myself running out of steam, knowing I have half a year to go still, lol. Things are happening and changing so fast…

TL:DR : It’s been wonderful to read your posts and no stress :)

    Moonlight from Heidi :)

    1. It’s wonderful when things happen just when the need them to. I don’t feel pressured. I get spurts of needing to post and then it passes. It had been a long time since I posted before this last spurt. It’s the same way with my FB posts, though I do aim to keep up with changing signs and phases on my page. I tend to get distracted or, like you, run out of steam. It’s okay. I’ve had this blog since 2009 and sometimes breaks are needed. Calendars are very time consuming with lots of checking and double checking the facts. I hope to see yours one day. Thanks for everything, Heidi. Happy Sag Season.

  2. thank you for keeping me up to date on planetary influential movements, our outer space resonates with our inner space
