Moon in Sagittarius, September 7-10, 2016; Jupiter in 29th Degree Virgo

Late day on the 7th, the Moon moves into Sagittarius where we typically find friendly attitudes and jolly moods. There’s a need for freedom, too, so a little bit of extra metaphysical rope goes a long way on these Jupiter-ruled days.

Do keep your rope relaxed the next few days because there’s a standoff between earth and fire in the skies. Four planets in earth have us feeling earth-bound and four in fire want us to rise higher and higher.

Jupiter is in a wavering phase as he gets ready to move into Libra on the 9th. Standing on the 29th degree of Virgo, Jupiter is finding too little or too much of the people and things associated with your Virgo house. Being in the Taurus decan of Virgo, financial matters connected to those people or things is a strong possibility. Jupiter in this degree might be too analytical or too disinterested, too organized or too sloppy, over-critical or oblivious. Moving into Libra on the 9th will start bringing back some much needed balance. It won’t be immediate, of course. We have to give it some time and do most of the heavy lifting.

Just as Jupiter is moving into Libra, the Moon phase changes from Crescent to First Quarter. We’re inspired to take action. Jupiter’s big move is there to back us up. Go for it!

The bright spot during these Sagittarius days is the Moon’s sextile to Venus in Libra on Thursday evening, the 9th. It’s a time marked for camaraderie and a “You’re okay, I’m okay” approach.
