Celebrate Your Moon Day

There is a very special day each year that needs your attention. Mine is almost as important as my birthday, and just as special in many ways. I use my Moon Day to celebrate being a woman, and think of it as my most feminine day of the year.

Your Moon Day is the day that the transiting Sun conjuncts your natal Moon and serves as your own special New Moon event. It happens on about the same day each year. It may vary by a day, just like a solar return, but you can celebrate it on the same day every year.

There are some special things I do to mark my Moon Day. The first is to acknowledge the Moon’s role in my life and all the way it fulfills me. It symbolizes my intuition, the heart connection I have with all the dear ones in my life, and the psychic messages I receive that make my life run a little bit smoother.

It’s nice to spend this day with some of my best girlfriends. If I can’t be with them, I like to talk with them on the phone. I firmly believe that you cannot be without girlfriends. Good ones will ground you while letting you soar as high as your dreams will take you.

A luxurious bath, a manicure, or maybe even a new haircut, makeup, perfume or clothes are ways to treat yourself to utterly feminine pleasures. I like shopping on my Moon Day to find something to represent where I am now on this journey.

You can figure out the date of your Moon Day by looking in an ephemeris. Look for the day when the transiting Sun reaches the same degree that the Moon was in on the day you were born.

If you need help with this, drop me a line and I’ll help you, or you can look it up in an online ephemeris.
