New Moon in Scorpio

“The intensity of the moment tells you it’s time to turn over a new leaf – but perhaps without entirely sharing it with everybody. The dog is least hungry who has his own bone, he travels the fastest who travels alone. The journey begun in the heart of the night soon sees the dawn breaking and thrives in the light. In short, it may be time to take your own, new path and only share your developing resources when they are firmly in your control. When you discover oil, wait until you’re pumping it to make the announcement. There is an urgency afoot and you’re eager to answer the call – just make the first part of your voyage incognito.” From Day Watch Calendar Report

This New Moon has only one exact aspect to it, a trine to Saturn Rx in Pisces.

“There’s a certain stability in the general atmosphere that makes it safe to say what you feel, but not too much. Conservation of emotion might be the phrase. It’s a time to be mutually reassuring, rather than wildly supportive; projects launched will be stable, though, perhaps not very showy.” (Day Watch)

November’s New Moon in Scorpio brings us an opportunity to go deep and dig for answers that may have escaped us for a while. It’s time to investigate, become a celestial detective, and try to find that ephemeral or elusive thing that seems just out of our reach. If you don’t know where to dig, you have a map that shows where X marks the spot. It’s your personal natal chart.

If you focus on the house that has Scorpio on the cusp, you’ll have a much better chance at sighting that X. I’ve been using whole sign houses for a few years, but if you prefer another house system, use that one by all means. You just may gain more clarity by comparing whole sign houses with another system to determine which one works best for you.

Here’s a quick breakdown of the houses. Find your X and start digging.
