Balsamic Moon, Sept 21-25, 14Leo00 – 02Libra48
The Balsamic Moon Fairy wears the crown of the tarot’s High Priestess and is seated on her throne next to a raven, the messenger. Like the High Priestess, her book of hidden knowledge is open. Next to her is a teacup, containing the prophetic leaves she will read before the New Moon arrives. The raven is perched on a nearly depleted hour glass which, like the Moon’s cycle, has almost completed its course. Below her feet is a universe, representing the myriad possibilities that the New Moon may bring.
The Balsamic phase of rest and release urges us to release the old to make way for the new. It is a time of reception for the messages sent our way from the universe to guide us as we mold our wishes for the New Moon.
The waning Moon in Leo is beneficial in our work to reduce pridefulness, self-absorption, and jealousy.
