The Old Moon of Aries Moves On

The feisty Moon in Aries has a cooling off period late this afternoon before moving into Taurus later tonight. With conjunctions to both Mercury and Uranus in Aries, this spiciest of all Moons is alive with innovative and urgent ideas that she wants to act on immediately.

A trine to cool Saturn helps her pace herself, though. Saturn, even in adventurous Sagittarius, is a conserving influence. Think of Saturn in this position as an armchair tourist instead of climbing Mt. Everest with a Sherpa.

By the time she catches her breath, the Old Moon mosies into Taurus, settles down for the evening, and begins her metamorphosis into the New Moon of Taurus early tomorrow morning.

You know what it’s like when you’re facing a deadline and do everything at a hectic pace to finish things up. Then, you come to the realization that you’ve done all you can do.

That’s it. You’re done.

You accept what you have, finished or not, and move on.

That’s the kind of day our Lady is facing before getting a really good night’s rest. Tomorrow she has a blissfully dreamy day with a conjunction to the Taurus Sun and a sextile to Neptune in Pisces.

Sweet dreams, Sweet Lady. See you on the flip side.

Need Help with the Taurus Lunation?

What possibilities does the New Moon hold for you? What do you want to happen? Can you make it happen?

I think you can.

But there’s a hitch. It takes daily diligence and commitment.

It’s easy to set intentions at the New Moon. But it’s not always so easy to see them through to the end. By using daily intentions, you stand a far better chance of seeing some solid results by the Full Moon.

By using the method outlined in the New Moon Dreams workbook, you can easily set daily intentions and make daily progress toward realizing your New Moon goals.
