Here we are, straddling one of the most powerful invisible lines recognized around the planet. 2016 is ending {I hear cheering} and 2017 is here for us with new beginnings and untold possibilities.
2016 was a #9 Year ~ all about endings and, too often, losses. I associate Pluto with the number 9. That little wrecking ball did plenty of damage in 2016, but our foundation still stands.
2017 is a #1 Year ~ the year of beginnings, accepting our individuality, and taking a leadership role. It’s the year of the Sun. If you’re like me, you’ll enjoy the universe blanketing us with that welcome light and warmth.
Ted Andrews in Dream Alchemy says that we are all capable of being shapeshifters, able to change ourselves and mold our surroundings to create the landscape and circumstances that will support us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. That’s what 2017 offers us—the opportunity to create change.
I’m asking myself two questions as 2017 rings in:
- How do I envision myself by the end of 2017?
- What can I do to change my landscape (mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually) to support me as I shift into the me that I envision by the end of the year?
The vision doesn’t come with a manual. It’s up to me to create my own steps. I have a motto to help me through the shift: Start small, finish big.
