The Sun enters Cancer on June 20th at 11:32pm ET marking the Summer Solstice. Today’s tarot card is the Ace of Cups, signifcator of the realm of Cardinal Water and the Moon.
Dates of note during Cancer 2021 are the Full Moon at 3 Capricorn on June 24th and the New Moon at 18 Cancer on July 9th. Mercury enters Cancer on July 11th.
One of my favorite things to do at the Full Moon in Capricorn is to make specialty salts for cooking and blessings. Capricorn holds rulership of salt, so it’s a very timely thing to do. You can throw anything in with your salt, being especially careful not to add any harmful ingredients if you plan to cook with it. We’re starting the summer with a nasty storm here in the southern U.S. Nothing like adding a little more humidity to make you long for autumn.
