Happy Independence Day to everyone celebrating the 4th of July. A last quarter Moon rising late, late in the sky should allow a dark sky backdrop for viewing the fireworks. I’ll be watching them from Quogue in NY with a gorgeous ocean backdrop. A little vacation on the ocean for the next few days is just what the doctor ordered to keep this ol’ crab happy.

I arrived home tonight and am happy to give you an idea for dinner ~ especially in your New York heat. Since it’s national ice cream month and the Moon is in Gemini, two scoops are just the ticket. Make it sorbet if you want to keep it light. And is it ever too late for sorbet?
