Full Moon Balance
Full Moons seek a balance point for two opposing signs. Leo is the performer, the Grande Dame, King, the one in the spotlight. Aquarius is the face in the crowd, the common man, those who feel the impact of the King’s declarations.
Perhaps this Full Moon in Aquarius is not unlike Mark Twain’s The Prince and the Pauper. In the story, trading places brings good things to the common man as the prince begins to understand first hand the inequality of the classes. In our personal lives, we may be able to get a better grip on what is getting all the attention by being over the top and what is below the radar and disregarded.
Lunar Eclipse
As a lunar eclipse, this Full Moon is concerned with our emotional state and subconscious leanings or yearnings. They may be out of control or they may be laying there dormant and unacknowledged.
If the lunar eclipse has a strong placement or makes important aspects to planets and points in your chart, you are more likely to deal with these emotional issues for up to six months. If it doesn’t impact your chart personally, enjoy it for what it is ~ a beautiful viewing experience.
There is a school of thought that tells us that an eclipse will have no effect on our chart if we can’t actually see it. This lunar eclipse won’t be visible in the U.S. because it occurs in the afternoon, but you can watch it online at https://www.virtualtelescope.eu/webtv/.
Mars: ANGER AND ENERGY
Mars is an active player at this Full Moon bringing energy to what we’re doing and being (conjunct the Leo Sun) while possibly frustrating us emotionally (opposite the Aquarius Moon). Most of us can recall being really busy and angry or frustrated at the same time. It’s not a lot of fun. We go too fast, screw up, and make mistakes that have to be fixed. If you feel that overtaking you, stop and get yourself back in control.
Jupiter: Happy Influence
The other planet involved in the Full Moon/Eclipse is Jupiter, sitting comfortably in Libra at 17°. Being in easy aspect to the Sun in Leo and the Moon in Aquarius makes this a Laugh Day. (Live! Laugh! Love! Days) Jupiter can give us big emotions, just like it can give us big anything. One of it’s purposes is to enlarge. But it also brings a happy factor and optimism that is truly wonderful when it’s felt at a soul level. If you catch it, hold on to it.
