We’ve all been someplace that was super serious or somber and someone said something really funny and it changed the mood of the room. You’ve been there, right? Well, Mercury just entered Sagittarius from serious Capricorn and the universe said something funny.
Mercury is moving back into the last few degrees of the Leo decan of Sagittarius. He’s bold, he’s outspoken, he loves a good belly laugh, and he doesn’t mind taking center stage to break the whole room into laughter—even if it’s at your expense. These moments were made for class clowns.
Just last night, instead of watching the news, I surfed the channel line-up and came across a standup performance by Billy Gardell of Mike and Molly fame. It was so refreshing, and such a nice change. I didn’t know just how badly I needed those laughs. Thanks, Billy.
Mercury is still retrograde, so some of your favorite old jokes might pop up again. Let’s hope so. We all need a good laugh.

Funny… I cottoned on to a few people lying as this happened. One was a girl on the train on the phone with her mother. I thought her mother was on her case and I felt sorry for the poor girl. She got off the phone and turned to her friend and laughed… looks like we might go to a party instead. As their demeanors transformed there is no way I would have seen through it. Her mother knew her though.
I’ve known Sagittarius to exaggerate, but not really lie. Wonder what’s up with that?
