Auntie Moon

The New Phase lasts until January 1, 2017, changing to Crescent at 11:19pm ET. This is a time for beginning projects with an eye toward responsibility, dependability, reputation, practicality, and your own ambition.  Today she sextiles Neptune, bringing idealism and a sense of spiritual connection. She also conjoins Pluto. That’s one you have to work carefully. With great power comes great responsibility.

Today (the 29th) has better aspects for Lady Luna than the 30th, which comes with challenges from Jupiter and newly direct Uranus. The squares to these two planets caution us to stay calm. Emotions can blow up out of proportion quickly and with real passion. Keep it cool.

The Moon moves into Aquarius at 8:30pm ET on December 30 with a changing focus toward unconventionality, invention, and friendliness. She is aspect free all day on the 31st, making her first aspect on Jan 1st to her ruler, Uranus. Could be some crazy New Year’s Eve! Careful out there.
